"Vanilla Alternative is an old pub/coaching inn/hotel (not sure which) first area you come to is the social area, which is much like a traditional pub in style, although the pole in the middle of the dance floor and some of the artwork suggests the venue's real purpose - a corridor leads off from the social area and the first opening reveals an open playroom, classily furnished with a number of beds, appropriately dim lighting and a large glory hole/box at one end, on busy nights the beds are all full, and the more voyeuristic clientele lurk at the door watching proceedings. Venturing further down the corridor and through the next doorway you come to a large area with a large padded bed area on one side, a shower area on the other stands in front of a large hot tub, where the emphasis on a good night is on "hot" - behind his is a further padded bed area. Moving out of this area and through a set of doors is a more BDSM themed room, with various benches and crosses etc, which in itself gives access to the upstairs area where rooms can be booked for the night and to which guests can take other club attendees for a little more private space. Overall the vibe is on the classy side, with an emphasis on fun" Brilliant description. I've so wanted to attend VA for a long time. Hear nothing but good things about it. | |||

"I've only been to one club so far called CJ's. It's in a very impressive red industrial building, with large windows. Once inside the architecture is lovely, I particularly like the wooden staircase with wooden panelling and the high ceilings. Downstairs there are various socialising rooms, one with a pole, a dancing room with a glitter ball. Upstairs is the play areas including dungeon room, cinema room, school room/ medical room, private rooms. There are lovely leather sofas to sit on and chat. I enjoy it immensely, I don't get often enough. I love the people who run it and the building beautiful in my eyes anyway, I'm big into architecture. x" I attended CJ's once and absolutely loved it. The decoration was fabulous and I enjoyed the layout as well. The staircase leading upstairs has a nice touch of panache My third club visit as a single guy and the first where I received the full experience so I might be slightly biased in my appreciation  | |||

I liked the contrast though from 'sex' rooms to just normal house. "Did that include a fireplace? I'm assuming it's Chams in Darleston you're referring to? Never been (another on the list). I've been to Chams Newport and that was like a rabbit warren. Kept getting lost in there! | |||

It's in the middle of nowhere and has a huge garden out the back with nothing to overlook it so you don't have to worry about getting dressed to go out there. I've been to events there where they had a bouncy castle. The other thing is their huge built in, tiled hot tub which is more like a small swimming pool and there are lots of loungers in the surrounding area. I vaguely remember some Greek style statues which gave it quite a spar like feel. The other club I visited many times has sadly closed down - Xotics Xtreme. While again the rooms were quite basic it had a huge warehouse out the back filled with BDSM equipment. It really was a great venue for us kinksters as it created such an atmosphere to have so many scenes going on in one big space and the openness of it made it much easier for people to quietly observe from a distance." I wouldn't really call it open as it's a townhouse so it's spread over 4 floors with multiple rooms on each floor apart from the dungeon in the basement. The biggest room only has two double beds in (along with two sofas and some BDSM furniture). I've been to other places that had many beds in one big room. The corridors and doorways are also quite narrow so it's not very easy for many to watch the non-private rooms so there's probably better places for people who want that. There are 4 private rooms but two of those are themed rooms. Only two are just plain rooms with beds in so I guess that is what others mean as I've been to a few clubs that only really have rooms like that. | |||

You walk up a stair case into a large open bar lounge area, it's dimly but adequately lit. Lots of large leather sofas. The play rooms are large and clean. "Townhouse is by far our favourite club, everyone is so welcoming and friendly and great if your new to the scene or if your experienced too. If you want a social night out or a filthy night out it's great for both. Hot tub and sauna are great, bar is cheap and the dancefloor is sexy. Clean throughout with showers, fresh towels and condoms available too. Each room is well equipped and has a great variety for whatever mood you fancy. Smoking area has just been done out too. Safest club we have been too aswell and regulars and staff always on hand to make the night a great one. Event list is vast with a wide choice that caters for everyone, dj is fantastic and always has the dancefloor booming, on certain events free drinks are offered, free buffet and sexy exotic dancers. Anywhere else is hard to beat this palace in our opinion "And another vote for the townhouse | |||
