I read on the forums yesterday that today is (allegedly) the most depressing day of the year; too far from Christmas, dark, gloomy and not 'nearly payday' yet...

In the interests of turning those frowns upside down, share what you're happy about, what you're thankful for and the small victories.

Post as many as you like but aim for a few

I have a roof over my head

A warm bed

A decent job

Children who love me

Food in my belly

Fresh water readily available

Few friends but good ones

The simple things in life are what makes me happy. Roof over the lad’s head, food in his belly, he’s happy and healthy; the folks healthy as they can be at their time of life; and knowing friends are happy and smiling

I'm thankful for my family, my beautiful home, the love, friendships and support I have in my life. It's really good being me right now.

To anyone struggling a bit right now - I hope it passes and you feel happy soon. x

I have THE most amazing friends who inspire and warm me.

I keep a roof over my head through hard work and sacrifice at times.

I have a son who's a cracking young man, who's working hard and has a beautiful soul.

I'm having a pamper day. I've never actually properly done this myself before. In a hotel, face masks, baths, foot things, smelly candle, soothing music on the speaker.

I have a man that loves me, whose promised me a night of "usness". The rest of the world can disappear tonight, just for tonight.

Hiding in the shadows

Absolutely no doom & gloom here

I have a nice house, a roof over my families head.

Jobs I love doing

Amazing friends, people who value & love me.

The only wee grumble is the bloody flu I've had which has floored me since New Years day.

Spent first week of the year unable to even make it to the bathroom unaided!

Felt better end of last week, went out to the Heathrow Social Sat.

I've been glued to the settee since I got home

Funnily enough today is the most positive day I've had this month, it's onwards and upwards from here!

I'm grateful for-

Having another week's holiday.

Having a big order to do that will bring in some much needed funds in February.

Having a warm, comfortable house to live and work in.

Being back on track with my IF life.

And hopefully getting a sexy wee trip to Glasgow before the end of the month
