Have others been put off purely by the state of the background in a photo?

I often feel if they shamelessly show a house they cannot keep clean, how clean are they themselfs? Dirty underwear stewn, cups and plates on the floor, clutter everywhere, instant turnoff

Yes a picture says 1000 words, maybe judging but the style of a pic is often telling

For sure. The background in pictures always reveal a little about the person in the them. Often they are more fascinating than the cock or whatever in the foreground

The background is more important than the foreground in some pics

Now that's a good one.

Background in the room where the photo has been taken looks like a bomb has gone off. Clothes everywhere etc, even a pile of pizza boxes, really fetching.

Our biggest turn off are tolites in the photo, yuk. Worst of all single guys still wearing their socks on while, shall we say performing other duties, what a turn off.

Also love checking out the background of photos, some people live in absolute shit holes and can’t tidy up after themselves, not the types I’m looking to meet.

Cams can be the worst, cant edit or blur out the state of their homes then.

General lived in is fine, but dirt and aparant slobbishness, just no.

Background is one the details that can make or break a picture and is often something overlooked by people. Photography 101, always tend to the backdrop

Often the topic of a thread... I think people don’t consider what’s in the back ground, only what they want you to see in the forefront!

My house is often a pigsty, but not when I have visitors or am taking photos!

It really shows how careless some people can be and probably that they would give little care to anyone else’s pleasures.

I'm always surprised when there are clear pictures of family on the wall.

But regarding mess, I've seen used nappies, half eaten kebabs, and empty special brew cans littering the floor.

Yes quite overturning- we've turned down meets on this basis (although I do think I have one where his wardrobe door is open behind me - sorry!)

It's even worse when they have the children's toys or equipment behind them

Yes, I've seen some young ladies backgrounds that made me want to throw up, knee deep in takeaway boxes, mountains of clothes dumped all over the show and even one with a dog shit on the kitchen floor behind her.
