When someone wants to play with you and for your own reasons you turn them down. Have you ever experienced them getting angry or upset. And how do you deal with that?

Be honest about why you don't want to play.

Manchester (she/her)

Yes.

On here, block.

One on one, get safe distance away including by bluffing if necessary then block.

Club, tell them to back off and if they persist get staff.

I've never seen it, but I here its pretty common for the women to get dogs abuse for rejecting mens advances. Delete, block and forget. Job done

Sometimes. I often give a polite 'thank you for asking, but I would not be looking to meet you, Sorry'. Some just delete, some say thanks for replying, some ask why. If they ask why, I try to explain as positively as possible. My personal preferences are....you live too far away....you work shifts that are not compatible with mine.......

We would never take it on board as it’s their dummy they have to retrieve and no ours - we be polite and if they persist it is wasting our tine and theirs so we block.

There is always going to be people out there that feel entitled.

Very occasionally I get I wouldn't have shagged you anyway you fat old granny, but rarely. Most people value a reply and honesty I have found

Most guys if we turn them down will say thank you for the reply happy fabbing etc etc. some wont reply and then you get the ones that send a message calling you every name under the sun and block you so you cant reply (not that we would anyway) so we just counterblock and leave it off

Rejection rage like every rage is limited to a few. If you get the rage by not meeting them then reward yourself for good judgement in saying no. You have dodged a bullet is my view.

E+R=O

The Event has happened and you cannot control that. The only thing you can control to get the Outcome you want is your Reaction.

If the outcome you want is to not let it affect you, move on and let them rage on their own.

Illegitimi non carborundum (yes I know that’s fake Latin)

Shangri-la

Regularly happens on here unfortunately. There are a great number of single guys who seem to think that just by being on this site a woman should be up for anything.

Block and move on, if in a club, as stated earlier get staff. To be fair I’m a club there’s always someone around who will back you if you say no!

Does make me laugh when I say no thank you and then the insults start. When I don't respond they say ........ Knew it. You're a man. Then they stop ..... Is a man calling a woman a man the worst thing they can think of... ??

P.S. It is why my profile is hidden. One of the reasons anyway. It's unhidden if I wan't messages.

disappointment and rejection are part of this process for many but getting angry and abusive are not acceptable

I turned a lady down yesterday and she had a real melt down.

I’m not sure she is used to rejection.

She really let loose with the insults. Had to block her in the end.
