Paisley

A wee nap for a half hour or an hour and feel ready to face the rest of the day. Especially after a rough night.

worse when you first wake up... all groggy, then better for ages but too long cos you cant get to sleep on the night, leaving you knackered and needing an afternoon kip the next day.

Tis a viscous cycle my dear =) x

I tend to have power naps at lunch time, if I say half an hour thats what I nap, if its an hour then its an hour and very seldom go over my limit. It does charge the batteries. "him"

Power naps are refreshing - 20 minutes, tops.

But full-on snoring, dribbling, thunderous, 2 hour sleeps are to be avoided in the afternoons - they bring fuzzy heads and general misery in their wake.

in the night garden

I used to have a work colleague that was an insomniac.

He used to fall asleep in the afternoon at his desk sat up at his computer. While asleep he would move his mouse in circular motions, I think in his sleep deprived clouded mind he thought he was tricking us into thinking he was still working. It was hilarious to watch.

One time I got 15 people into his room and while he was asleep, on the count of three we all screamed FIRE!.

He wet himself lulz

So I would be careful where you have your afternoon nap.

I Mr love a good power nap, especially on a Sunday when f1 is on there's nothing better than the noise of the cars to put you to sleep
