Loads of my friends are currently pregnant or have newborns.

Just wondering what your favourite memory of your children were when they were diddy. Mine wasnt a specific memory, but after a while i got used to the smell of baby sick on my neck..

I'm still trying to forget the yellow nappies.

Or taking one of them to hospital, and having to cup my hands to catch their sick. Was interesting asking a nurse where I could put it (showing said handful of stomach contents).

I had severe PND after my 2nd baby... the first 4 months of her life are a blur to me... which is sad, but we super close now!!! best memory of my eldest is just being in total awe of something I'd had inside for 9mths

Ah yes the smell of your own newborn is the most beautiful perfume in the world. I loved the feeding, such a perfect moment for mother and child, nothing beats it

i was amazed by everything and wrote down silly things like 'first bogey - day 4'

took photo's of her tiny hands and feet. I attempted to get those cast moulds done but soon as her feet/hands came in contact she's curl up her toes or make a fist ruining it.

I know all mums say this but Rosie when first born emergency c section she came out blue. Seconds later she came back spikey hair and the most rosiest reddest cheeks I had ever seen hence the name Rosie (she nearly was a Sophie)had the name on her little tag but she just looked like a Rosie.

Bridie again in the hospital she always been a nosey little bugger less than a day old in the goldfish bowl lol trying to do sit ups raising her head so she could see what was going on.

1st child the skin on skin contact and snuggles. Two weeks in hospital with rare condition all ok thou and he's 11yrs. 2nd child 10 weeks early 6 weeks scbu and no sleep for two years now 6 yrs old every day am pm it's a cuddle and a kiss. She great they both are. Oh written by the male here.

Best memories of my children was the smell of infacare baby lotion it was yummy ..and after bath hot johnsons baby oil massages for them .

with my eldest it was when she laughed for the first time. She was around 2 and a half months and i'd taken to get her photo taken professionally. The guy was trying to raise a smile with his toys and she came out with this mega deep hearty belly laugh.

With my second it was pushing him in his pram round town when he was a few weeks old. He was snoring like an old man and the sound emanating from the pram was so ridiculous that every person turned their head to look at the snoring baby.

With my third it's hard to say. I had a horrific c-section, lets just say the drugs didn't work. I was consumed by flash backs and PND for the first year of her life. Took us a long time to develop a bond. Which i'm thankful to say we have an amazing bond now.

With my fourth, the way he looked at me when I breastfed him. His eyes never left mine until they started to droop and fall asleep.

I wanna go a little later... Of course I agree with almost everything that others have said, but I always loved the way an older child sits when being carried! One leg front and one leg back, arms round neck and head on shoulder.. Unconditional love and the kisses on the cheek were the icing on the cake

Always had (and have) amazing relationships with our kids and even at the age of 15/16, Emma would still come sit next to me (dad) and snuggle up to watch telly.. Now, they both have kids of their own (2 & 3 years) and I can relive all that again...

I just loved breastfeeding both my children and the loved them gazing up at me with their gorgeous big blue eyes...and that little thing that happened to their top lip afterwards...the best memories of all!
