Love ABBA, its uplifting, great to sing along to, the songs tell a story and have a chorus, all ages recognise an abba tune and probably know the words, guaranteed floor filler songs.

Yep deffo an ABBA fan

Absolouetly love ABBA . Had a few of their songs played at our wedding ceremony. The wedding version of dancing queen sends shivers down my spine for all the right reasons.

I like the sound of ABBA as it takes me back to my youth. I loathe Mamma Mia.

You can tell it's from the 70's there's no way people who look like that can get famous these days, no matter how talented!

I was in the ABBA fan club as a kid.

(It was how I learned that SAE stood for stamped addressed envelope, not self addressed envelope lol)

Went with my fella to see a tribute band on the pier at Weston Supermare and had the time of my life.

I'm a huge muso, like everything from Indie, DUB, Electronica, jungle, ambient (the list goes on) to the point I can be a bit of a music snob or bore.

But I've got to admit that ABBA have recorded some of the best music ever. No arguement. And 'The Album' by Abba is one of the finest records known to human kind and I'll fight anyone who disagrees...

My Spotify round-up told me ABBA Gold (volume 2) was my most-listened-to album each of the past eight years. It's perfect 'getting ready to go out' music, or if I need a boost. Pure uplift!

Musically, they were years ahead of everyone else, at a time when there was so much varied styles and equally, impressive soloists, groups and so on.

Even today, I know DJ's who work at functions here at my hotel, who say that ABBA hits, always get people up on the dancefloor and singing.

I always think that when I see that Buggles "video killed the radio star" music video, he wouldn't even get through the first round of Britain's Got Talent now, but I don't think Bowie would have either with his odd looks and uneven teeth, not good looking enough for today's audiences regardless of talent.

I never listen to Abba, could be because - I had a dream - that I was a - dancing queen - trouble with groups like this is that its all about - money money money - I wanted to be a singer but no one would - take a chance on me - .

I did enter a singing competition once but it was unfair as - the winner takes it all- anyway you would only win if you was a -super trouper- but - knowing me knowing you - I think that's just - the name of the game . !

So what happened with Subo and Paul Potts

Hardly lookers now are they

Yes, agreed. They are just one of a number of artistes to whom I can listen for ever and who really make you feel good about yourself plus warm and cosy.

The Carpenters were the same. The mellow tones of Karen Carpenter were so easy on the ear.

I quite enjoy listening to The Carpenters too. It takes me back to being young and listening to my mum play them all day long.
