Scars

So was chatting to a lady friend the other day and she told me one of her big turn ons is yes... scars. She couldn't explain it. I found it odd myself. I've had ankle surgery and brain surgery in the past (not at the same time!) so have my fair share of them!

Do any of you have any good battle wounds or stories to share?

None of my scars have good stories, quite the opposite, and I have many. I always just hope they don't put people off when they meet me.

Ho Chi Minge City

I chopped a sizeable chunk out of my finger with an axe last summer but fortunately it stopped when it hit the bone so that’s a fair sized scar

after 2 broken wrists, broken arm, shattered pelvis, shattered ankle, fractured neck C6, fractured back T7 & T8,

spleen removed, kidney stitched back in;

and lacerations on legs,

due to 50 years of motorcycles and offshore oil rig working

yes, I do have a few scars

fitness returned but a long fight.

I have a couple of scars on my tummy from gallstone surgery, one on my elbow from when I was a kid and fell off my bike and one on my leg from a rusty car bumper that a scraped against when I was a kid.

As negative as I am about my body, I never actually think of my scars

After my motorbike accident last year I’ve got a couple but all are hidden if I have shorts or boxers on.

Like one of the above posts I had a shattered pelvis so the scars are from repairing that etc...

I have quite a few from head injuries to broken bones but I havent personally met a lady that was turned on by this. When I was in my early 20s though I worked with a guy who went out with a woman who had a pretty major face scar which he said was something that he found particularly attractive about her. When i quizzed him why he only said that he loved every part of his woman.

Seen in far off places

It's a shallow life that doesn't give a person a few scars.

I like to embrace somebody's depth of being.

Hubby has a scar on his ankle from a bike accident but his main one goes from his sternum to below his belly button. He was opened up four months ago to remove a tumour and three feet of gut

I’m covered in them from neck up and hips down.

They all speak a story and some of the provenance behind them I’m proud of.

I do feel a little self conscious wearing shorts sometimes as the ones below the knee are very obvious

I have a few, some surgery, some stupidity, none of them are particularly obvious though (apart from when I get a tan and they show up more!)

Any good stories behind any of these? I think it's a bit of a boring life that doesn't have something to show for it haha! Even snowflakes are bound to have gotten themselves into some awkward situations

I took a garden rake to the side of the head on a night out in my early 20s. Long story short it hung out of my head till the ambulance came lol funny looking back but I little scary at the time

I have a scar on my nose and at the side of it from where I (very very stupidly) stood in front of a gate and the cows pushed it open.

One on the back of my head from where I hit the floor after the cows pushed it open.

And a rather nice one on my arm that went down to the bone. Caught it on a rusty piece of vehicle.

No funny reasons scars, just a self inflicted one on my right ankle. It reminds me that I am stronger now than I was back then

I don't find them a turn on, but they are certainly not a turn-off.

As others have said, they tell a story.

I have a lot of scars from a car accident when I was a teenager. They’re part of me so take them or leave them.

Scars on a lover are just something extra to touch and feel. I’m a touchy, feely sort of person

ignites minds to unite ...

Scars are stories , some good , some bad , some funny , some tragic, some physical , some mental.

I like a story, if a scared person would share when asked, if comfortable to answer.

Just looked at my small scar that involved flames , brought me back to a funny childhood memory .

There's nothing wrong with scars.

They show you've been through something (probably bad) and come out the other side, hopefully smiling.

I'd kiss any scar.
