I wouldn't. They don't interest me in the slightest

Never been.

I might consider if there was one in Shrewsbury or Chester, I'm in the middle of both so neither are that far.

Wirral

I'm thinking of going to the next Chester one; I wouldn't travel halfway round the country but I think it would be nice to meet locally.

Exeter

About an hour from Exeter. So pretty much Bristol/Weymouth to the East and Newquay/Truro to the West.

It surprises me how many verifications I've seen from people who are hours! away from each other.

Or maybe its fab location not working properly?

Or maybe people are just happy to travel to meet? From where I am, if the other person is willing to meet half way, I can meet someone from pretty much anywhere in England and Wales and not have to drive for more than two hours each way - which isn't a great deal

Manchester (she/her)

I've only been to the Manchester one, which is local, but it is a wonderful day with great company.

Prestonish

"How far you do travel to organised group socials? "

I’m traveling from Prestonish to Heathrow this weekend - so around 200 miles each way. A lot of really great people are going though who I love dearly - so it’ll be worth every mile!

I think I need to be putting more effort in

Most of the forumites are bloody lovely and well worth meeting. Some have become my very best friends through them there socials!

I’d definitely recommend attending a few.
