well i wouldn't meet those people, hence the filter request "If you don't want to meet "those people", when you see how old their verifications are, don't ask them for a meet. Not withstanding, some people meet but don't verify, so you could be disregarding someone who has a 2 year old veri, but had a meet this morning. | |||

The whole veri system needs to be revised. I definitely think you should be able to accept one before it’s added to your summary. Like a guy could maliciously verify a straight guy and like you said, he’ have to hide his summary or show that he’s met a man which could fuck up his profile. We all verify each other on our first meet but don't see the point in verifying each other every time we meet. We would have loads from the same handful of people and that seems pointless. There's absolutely feck all point in basing decisions on here by what you see written in a profile alone.
Veris just prove someone met someone else - assuming you believe it's real (which is why it's worth backchecking a bit). Assuming people leave a veri each and every time they meet is ridiculous. Assuming the last date that one shows is the last meet they had is equally pointless.
But hey. You can choose your own methods of course. Some will work better than others and if you're finding it hard then maybe it's the method that's at fault rather than other people's choice of how the run their profile and document their activities.

Nobody knows when or if I’m meeting because it’s private and I’m sure lots of people keep things private. but i think itd be helpful for me/some if they could filter out certain people who via there profiles are not meeting, its just my opinion anyway Ahh you mean if they state they’re not meeting, Just here for the forums ... that type of thing? " no Babs, some profiles/people on here either dont have a green MEET tick and have been on here for years, some profiles on here have a green MEET tick but havnt shown/displayed a meet in years so it shows last meet 2/3/4yrs ago etc... id like those people not to be able to contact me or appear on my search so i suggested that a 'meet' filter would be useful for me/some if you could filter out people who havnt met/displayed a meet in a certain time frame i.e last meet/displayed meet 6mths... 1yr... 2yrs etc so when i searched i could put only people who met or displayed a meet with the last 6mths... 12mths...2/3/4yrs or whatever contact me x | |||

It is purely designed as a means of confirming that people are who they say they are and that they will turn up for a meet. As many have said, many people have friends here whom they meet on a regular basis and don't see the need to leave a verification on every occasion as it would be utterly pointless. In the past, I have met people who, it would seem, don't leave people verifications, and trying to get one from them is often a waste of time. I'd say that your suggestion is seriously flawed due to the fact that it would appear that you don't really understand the whole verification system. | |||

If you're only looking to meet and not use the site for anything else then proactively block any profile that you come across that you're not interested in.
Hey presto! They won't show in your searches anymore and they can't message you.

Is it because you think someone who is active is more likely to want to meet? Because you think just because they've displayed they've recently had sex that they'll be somehow better? Some other reason? Because as has been said numerous times on the thread just because someone doesn't advertise they've had meets doesn't mean they haven't had them. "How do you know they’re not meeting? They’re just not recording it in a veri. You’ve got some people who think too many veris is off putting and some who think that not enough are off putting. I get the basis of what you’re saying but think “you can’t please all the people all the time” is a perfect phrase for this idea.
