A contestant on a TV reality show apparently posed with dead animals like a hunter. There were over 900 complaints. Should he have been booted off the show for this. Is the public a suitable jury?

We give the public the vote, which is a little more important, so yes.

Dont agree with trophy hunting. I've done my fair share of hunting with my dad but always ate what killed.

The only way I would agree with trophy hunting is if the hunter had the same weapons as the prey does.

Plenty of people on here who trophy hunt, the trophy being the relationship they've taken great pleasure in destroying and the man/woman of their desire in their bed.

They, alongside animal trophy hunters deserve the same treatment. Cast away to a desert island with no "man made weapons" whether that be guns or communication devices and a very aggressive natural habitat full of carnivorous big toothed animals.

If you're gonna kill an animal, it should be for food or to stop it suffering (pests not included)

Many a backpacker does this in Queensland or cane toad baseball pics , I think there’s a bye-law saying you have to kill them.

This is specifically to do with large animals and an emotional reaction. The same “outraged” people chew daily on enslaved animals that have never known freedoms like these big hunted animals.

"But should they be hurled of TV because of it ?"

No. But they should rightly be criticised and called out for it.

Given that trophy hunting inevitably gets emotions running high and the fucker will get a lot of grief when he comes out I'm surprised that the love island producers have picked him

Its all about the viewing figures. 2 former contestants in this show have killed themselves and the show has been criticised for their lack of support. Having a contestant who is going to get fucking destroyed in the media and on social media for having done something legal but in the main vilified as a pretty abhorrent thing to do seems pretty irresponsible to me.

And I really doubt, given that the producers approach the majority of contestants, that they didn't know.

plenty of skill you ever tried shooting something moving but for some shooting is the end product most are about the chase tracking it sometimes for days your emotions are all over but I'd agree still not needed don't see the need to kill it could mark it photo it move on
