Why is it the Guys thats always have to send a Face Pic First?

I have noticed that its always the guys that have to send a face picture first, what the.......why cant a guy get a face picture first and have to chose to say "sorry not my type" its always down to a couple or a female........just not fair I think

Oh well I have had my pennies worth said, whats your thoughts.

Well surely it should be the person who sends the first message that should send one first. In general it happens that it is usually the guy that makes first contact. I've never ever aked for anyone to send me a face pic.

It's not always the case though - I've received many a face pic from ladies and couples before sending mine...

...where you are asked to though what's the big deal? Someone has to, and if people have their way of approaching the site you have two choices - accept or move on.

"Fairness" doesn't come into it

I can also lie in forums if I put at least 2 smiling emojis afterwards.

Some (alot of) guys are just picture collectors. We take the stance of, if you can't reveal your face first then you can't be trusted with ours. Though there has been rare exceptions where a guys profile is clearly genuine by its content, face pics on show and verifications, which we would send a picture with our first message

I always send a face pic with the first message regardless of if they ask for one or not, I’d rather they know I look like a goblin to begin with

We don't like to waste there time plus we want to make sure it's not someone we know. No problems with couples as most of time they are genuine and in same bot as us

Our faces are in our public pics so we expect to see a face pic if someone messages us with an offer to meet up. We don't see the point of getting into a message stream with people we don't fancy.

I get your thinking OP but two people have to be physically attracted to each other to make a meeting worthwhile and realistically it's women who decide whether it's going to happen or not so it's not unrealistic that she sees your photo first . As for " returning the favour" that another poster stated again I can see why he might say that but if it's going nowhere then what is the point of her returning with a photograph.Believe it or not there are men on Fab who would be less than gracious with their comments on having been turned down at the same time as seeing a woman's photograph. Women don't need that kind of rudeness.
