nope not a fan the history is of unrest and violence and its still thinly disguised beneath the surface

Maybe if you understood the meanings behind a lot of it you'd be more disinclined to like it. See if you can find the history of 'our day will come' for example.

That aside the some of the actual artwork is top notch

How is it cool to have slogans that remember a war that killed hundreds of people? Neither side has been blameless.

Maybe if you understood the meanings behind a lot of it you'd be more disinclined to like it. See if you can find the history of 'our day will come' for example.

I actually know the meaning too as I just meant the art work is really good.

Tgere is a documentary on netflix about the murals “ art of conflict”.

I personally find it all a bit too art brut for my liking.

Not a fan of it at all, can’t look past the meaning of the murals even if the art work is ‘nice to look at’

Most of the "artwork" is a bit rough when seen up close.

The messages are clear. Lamp post pissing territory marking and the two tribes mentality that often blights what is a beautiful place.

One day they may move on from 1690.

The silent majority would rather like the past to stay in the past in my experience.
