Burton-on-Trent

I've got a repertoire of ~10 dishes, and I'm so uninspired by the same again I'm dreading meal-times.

Any wild or simple ideas youse lot would care to share?

Hillside desolate

I'm the same, bored of the same old stuff. Tomorrow I'm trying my hand at home made donner kebabs. I'll see how it goes before handing out the recipe though

I often look at Jamie Oliver easy vegan meals, sweet potato curry is one of my favourites or white bean chilli, thay are delicious and so simple and I'm sure you could add chicken or other meat you want to them if you wanted too, I'm not vegan or vegetarian but these do make a nice change now and again

Manchester (she/her)

I do a lot of variants on meat and three veg.

Home made marinades, different spices.

Ditto for a stir fry. Risotto too.

Failing that, look through recipe websites and see what looks attainable for you.

Sandwich

Someone did a slow cooker thread a little while ago and it inspired me to get mine out (and the slow cooker ) I really love breakfast casseroles now. I have some beef, butternut squash, garlic and baby plum tomatoes cooking at the moment. It smells lush!

kinky land

My daughter has an app.

She puts in the ingredients she wants to use, sets any calorie requirements etc and it coughs up recipes.

I was sceptical at first, it actually seems to work. I'll ask her what it's called once she's back in this country

Burton-on-Trent

My meal list is:

"Chinese"/"Indian" curry

Stir fry noodles

Scrambled eggs (these I'm proud of)

Omelette

Pesto pasta

Griddle pan meat/fish + veg + potato

Fajitas

Fancy salad + dressing

Enchilada

Risotto

& paella, but I lack confidence with it. Maybe I've answered my own question

So those are what I gravitate to and know what I'm doing.

Given the choice I'll take something exotic everytime. Thai, Mexican, Greek, Moroccan

Cheers everyone! I'm ravenous!
