Yeah. I’m crap at sympathy though. Giving and receiving! I’m more of a right what we gonna do about this then but let’s go out and have a few drinks whilst we think about it

I try to be. Not sure I’m that great at it, but had good feedback.

. Yes, yes and yes.

I'm a bit of an all-rounder.

A bit of both. It depends who needs it.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I'm a good listener and can offer sympathy when I think it's deserved. When it isn't, I tell it like it is as otherwise i'd be doing the person a disservice.

.

I think most people are "good" listeners up to a certain point - from that point it depends on headspace, relationship with the other person etc.

I think I cheerlead my friends well if I believe in what they are doing. Even if I don't, I'll still support them as much as possible (but tell them I think they are being a bit bloody daft).

Listener.

People can usually solve their own problems but just need a sounding board to talk through the options. You never get the full picture, and can make things worse by making assumptions.

But somewhere lively can be as good as somewhere quiet.

I can be both and try my best to be when I see or sense someone in need, there's darkness all around so it's always good to bring a little light when possible.

No I’m shit as you well know. My sympathy is a pint and a ‘plenty more fish in the sea’ speech
