depends how rich i was, if i had enough money where i could spend 20k on one of my kids for their borthday and not miss it then yes id spend that on my childs party

As i am now, now cause i dont have that kind of money lol

I don't care how much money I had, I would never spend that on a party for a kid of mine! Just because "Daddy" is rich now, doesn't mean he will always be rich, so I would still make sure my kids knew the value of money.

Spending that amount on a birthday party for an offspring is not teaching them any thing other that "There is plenty more where that came from"!

Unless of course it was MY birthday, then that would be OK

Recently watched a certain footballer at a nightclub Buy a bottle of vodka at approx £140 and proceded to pour the entire bottle over his footballing friends heads !!

money is a luxury for some people..

i could have got 10 litres of voddy from the supermarket for that price of one small bottle !!

if you keep the strippers and the dwarf juggling guy - no one will be looking at the ice thingys.. saved a £100 there at least..

Even if I was filthy rich, I would hesitate on blowing that much on essentially a kids party. I know people like decadence but all you are doing is dipping into your pocket for people to come and gape at your largess and criticise you forever after...just my view

Hey…. Maybe I have an over simplistic view !!!!

But I just think it’s a bitter pill, that parents of privileged child in this country would happily blow 25K on a party, knowing that same amount of money could be spent feeding 700 children for a whole year, who will otherwise die of malnutrition…..

I would hope to think that privileged children in this country would rather see their "money know object parents" give them an option to share their generosity when celebrating the significance of life’s special moments by making a charitable donation on their child’s behalf, rather than simply blow extravagant sums filling the pockets of people who already have plenty …….

Of course it must be said that many wealthy parents already donate lots of money to good causes and many of these philanthropic parents simply use their children’s desire to have a celebrity appearance at their parties as an way of donating even more money to charity. As many celebrities use party appearance fees as an effective method to raise funds for their own chosen charities. ( Tulisa included)
