As you can see in my profile, I am quite tall and when out, I feel women have holdbacks to approach me... Am I intimidating? Or should be ALWAYS the other way around?

You would definitely stand out from a crowd, but I would not say your height alone would intimidate me, lots of factors would determine that such as stance, body language, facial gestures...

People can make themselves accessible, intimidating etc. You can't redress others' prior experiences that may deter, perhaps due to knowing someone similar but you can be inviting and warm.

If you consider your height stops some, spend time at a lower more accessible level.

That was your interpretation - which provides you with the opportunity to change that in future, to one that's going to create potential opportunities. You used the word 'feel', yet referred to a belief.

We would say your height isn't a factor, it's all about attitude and the signals you give off. If you look approachable and friendly people will be more open towards you.
