Messages in themselves don't have to be with an intention to meet.

I often talk to those I have previously met, some more often than others. And then I message some getting a feel for them or just friendly messages.

I don't have a count or much clue, as I typically get to know people over a fairly long time period.

They don't all start to chat at rhe same point, it's staggered. They're not appkying for a solitary pozition, like a presidential election - they may all prove to be successful.

I don't just chat with people who may become fbs either. The fb mailbox is often the worst bit here.

I'd guess I've 10 or so people who are currently chatting and may be suitable but some fall off the radar, don't make ut etc

I don't think it's a straight forward thing to measure, I pop on and off. Sometimes I check messages and reply to one, sometimes I reply to however many I have sat there, sometimes I just look at the forums and don't even look at my mail.

Like Gemini Man it varies from someone I talk to every day to others I message less frequently but at length. They are first and foremost friends. Anything else if it ever happens would be a bonus.

Like I said very much depends on the style and type of conversation - quick fire chat of the newsy type then I can hold several - something more in depth and meaningful I may focus on just one

I enjoy the Forums and sometimes that creates a direct message chat about fun in Europe where I am or about a skill e.g. Massaging or less so about when I am in London to set up a Social.

There is one Lady I would a Social with who is on the Forum a lot but I don't think my hint was clear enough and don't want to pester ever anyone.

Mainly the more active I am on the Forum the more messages there are.

With intent to meet we only chat to people one at a time..

We have in the past had five or six different chats running simultaneously & tbh you lose track without referring back all the time & you get sweet fa done elsewhere so it’s now severely curtailed & we are currently not messaging anyone.
