May i recommend Hornsea, East Yorks.

It'll be very quiet in early July, you'll not be disturbed.

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

Fishguard Bay Caravan and Camping Park.

It's up high on a cliff and you wake up in the morning looking out over the sea and the bay... it's stunning.

You need a car to get to the beach but there are lots of quiet tiny cove beaches scattered along that bit of coast as well as the main beach the other side of the habour.

I tend to stay at club sites of a club as I like to know there is a warden on site 24/7 for safety and security reasons.

I suggest for the OP to search/browse UK Campsite for information instead.

Can't recommend Shell Island in North Wales highly enough. The largest campsite in Europe, it's own beach (and a nudist one a bit further up if that's your bag)

Sea to one side, Snowdon to the other. Pure heaven.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Port Haverigg on the west coast of Cumbria....right on the doorstep of the lakes but without the lakes prices. Haverigg's got 6 nice pubs n clubs within easy staggering distance, friendly locals (when they're not bothering the sheep), fabulous views and a naturist beach further along the road if you want....happy hols wherever you choose to go

If you opt for countryside over seaside High Laning in Dent is an unparalleled location, so beautiful.

There's lots of walking, pubs, one of which has its own brewery and interesting places nearby.

I like campsites which have clean secure basics - shower, loos. But I prefer the quieter spots in stunning locations. If I come back in the evening after a few drinks I don't want to get lost looking for my tent!

And I have found people are more considerate of their neighbours on smaller sites - bad behaviour shows up if there's just a few if you!

If you can get a foil emergency blanket spread it in the ground under your airbed, it really helps to insulate.
