Ive never owned one. Im not a fan. They ruin custard, gravy, baked beans, soup.

Give me a hob everytime.

I did not have one for years, and just got one a few months ago. I could easily manage without one again.

Scrambled eggs are best out of the microwave though.

I don’t really have a use for them I used to cook the rice pouches but I just buy a big bag and cook it on the hob now

They are handy for reheating meals and other than that, as said above, I generally only use mine for rice packets

I've heard horror stories from other snake keepers about putting frozen rodents in microwaves to defrost and warm them up

Seriously though, I do a lot of batch cooking, and mine is invaluable when all you have to do is boil some veg, pasta or rice to accompany some tasty dish that you cooked a couple of months ago

Mushy peas.

Baked beans - I over cook so they go thick.

And then meals for the teenager to heat up when I'm at work
