Can work with but peak beard is behind us now, guys become too samey. And they often cause irritation, so can be motivation to avoid when there's lots of choice. It's not to say that tons of guys don't look great with them, I just think they should have got rested 3 or 4 years ago as such common place looks.

So, in basic terms, terfs are a breakaway branch of militant feminism with a vendetta against trans people (they believe trans men are traitors and trans women are interlopers and cultural appropriaters) who are largely considered to be extremist hatemongers by mainstream feminists.

Calling a large masculine man a terf is making a gag about transphobia, which is absurd enough for it to be clearly understood that it's not a genuine accusation, more a humorous subversion of assumptions and perception.

Of course, it all falls apart if you don't actually know what a terf is in the first place.
