What’s your thoughts? I love been called a dirty slut but getting called a slag would offend me as I personally think there’s a difference!

I can tell you exactly how this will go.

Some will, some wont

The end.

This question gets asked every other week and it always plays out the same. Usually ending in an argument for no reason.

Central

It depends on context and intent. I could perhaps be quiet, due to my profile name but think generally that neither are appropriate in the wider world and without appropriate relationships and context. Ive had some regret over my ID but persisted with it for 10 years and probably will keep it now, as there are a fair few others with the same personal name, Sophie. If I knew it troubled someone I'd probably alter it but think people generally think as adults and assume that I get what I deserve, if it's unsuitable. I will be the one to lose out, as I could have some people who avoid me - I'm insufficiently aware of whether or not this is the case in reality.

In general, we should all respect everyone else and both terms are reasonably perceived as insults by most people. I'd be somewhat annoyed or angry if people I didn't know in the wider world used them against me, though also know many to be ignorant of my lifestyle choices.

"What’s your thoughts? I love been called a dirty slut but getting called a slag would offend me as I personally think there’s a difference!"

Yeah, to us, being a slag is not a great thing but being slutty is a turn on! However, it all depends on how people percieve words and their meanings. Its how miscomunication happens unfortunately

Slag is an absolute no in all contexts.

Slut is contextual. I can refer to myself as a slut. With a partner/someone I know well, I like it as part of our dynamic as an honourific. Some random person calls me a slut, they might get a slap in the face.

For the right person, I will be their slut, and I will take great delight in it.
