To play the piano. I gave up though at a young age.

What I would give to be able to just sit down at a piano and play.

"got time to start again? "

Yes, but maybe when my children are older. Not enough hours in the day.

I taught myself to play a few years ago, just so I could figure stuff out. There are plenty of simple tunes you can play with one hand, just using the white keys. Also most songs can be sung along to by playing simple 3 note chords.

Loads of tuition on YouTube. If you have any sense of time, you’ll get it pretty quickly.

People used to ask Liberace how he played piano wearing all those rings. He used to answer "Very well indeed!"

There is a piano located at the base of our shopping centre and it's often got someone tinkling away on a melody, I like to stop and listen for a few minutes.

I am taking drum lessons this year, it's something I've always wanted to try

I've just bought some easy-to-play piano books to help me learn to play the piano accordion.

After almost 30 years of pointless noodling i've got my first guitar lesson on Monday. It's never too late to start up again.

Good for you. I hope you enjoy it and the neighbours don't hate you!

Maybe you could add a Fab video of you playing?

We are both trained musicians since we were young and have both kept it up. It's one of the greatest joys imaginable. I (Luke) really don't know what would have happened to me if I wasn't a musician. It's totally bound up in my identity. I can't imagine life without it.

If you want to learn, OP, then go and learn. It's not too late to get lots from it.

I imagine it must be something very special to be able to just sit down and play an instrument.

I think I may well learn once my children are older.
