that you are a swinger prevent you from raising your profile in public ?

e.g. appearing on tv, in the press etc

or would you think sod it and take any potential backlash as it came ?

i mean for fear of people recognising you / selling stories to tabloids etc

It wouldnt bother me in the slightest... Although saying that I did refuse to go to a big bbc bash with a good friend of mine.. for fear of people making it something it wasnt.

There is a nurse that i used to work with, very quiet type would not say boo to a goose or so we thought, then out of the blue she appeared on a channel 4 documentary on swinging. Her bosses we absolutely livid with it but at the end of the day she told them, outside of the hospital it is my life i will do what i want, And i have to agree with that. I s'pose it would depend on what you were getting involved in work wise. Sometimes honesty is the best policy, get yer story out there before other people do - if you have nothing to hide there is nothing to use against you.

It worked for Russell Brand, he didn't hide his sex addiction and his career isn't doing too bad

oh as for me... I've never wanted to be famous and for completely different reasons would hate to be in the public eye

If i were just a sinlge woman no, and if it were just swinging...however both kev and Sir would be "outed" by any decision i made so its not just me i would have to think about.

So for me it is a case of ticking the no publicity box. i actually had to to this recently as i was invited to write for a reasonably high profile journalism project. However they wanted me to write under my real name so i had to decline.

We wouldn't want our immediate family or any family knowing our private/sex life and we wouldn't want any work colleagues knowing either.

A few of our close friends know that we swing and go dogging but they are in similar relationships too.

Speaking from experience, there are some people out there who will think nothing of slandering and spreading rumours about others and the things they THINK they get up to.

That's why we try to keep our private life as private as possible.

If we didn't have family ties then we wouldn't be too bothered who knew.

I find the idea of being a public “celebrity” swinger abhorrent………

It would totally take away the thrill for me….!.

The very thought that non-swingers would have even restricted knowledge of my private actives would completely devalue the pleasure I get from swinging………

So thats a firm... Nope… niet… nada… from me !!!
