You hear people banging on about that you should drink plenty of it as its good for you etc.

How come if its so good for, does it come in the worst container known to man?

Can you think of any other products that this applies too?

Have water from a tap then. Besides, most of the water you get from your food.

Because the bottled water industry isn't about selling water (which is available everywhere in the UK and is virtually free) but all about selling plastic bottles and an image.

Most lucrative scam going. 1p a bucket from the tap but stick it in a plastic bottle and it’s £1. If that mark up applied to beer it would be around £1500 a pint

You would think that in this age of recycling we could do away with some things. Bottled water being one when you get it out the tap.

Think of all that plastic being used unnecessarily

Ermm a Tap is not a container, its a valve or an outlet.

Even the "Water" pipes are plastic nowadays

Tap water is fine for me. Why buy water in bottles when you can get it on tap.

The bottled water industry is a monster. Mains water is much nicer with Chlorine and Fluoride filtered out.

Mains water is the healthiest.

De-ionized ,de-minrelised and filtered water has all the good bits taken out, it becomes neither good or bad for you.

Perpignan and cap

I'm huperhydroxic, which means that I sweat a lot.

I also live in a place where the summer temperature reaches 40+ degrees.

I'm poor so I work manually, outside.

I'm often consuming 8-10 litres of water a day, sometimes more.

I always buy bottled water in the summer, but always re-fill the bottles multiple times.

You Brits, can't you just look up with your mouth open to re-hydrate?
