You're right of course but I do think it'll be an interesting experiment. Women tend to "demand" witty, detailed messages but the few who block men and do the contacting themselves tend to send one liners or just wink at guys they're interested in.

Which is why I said I'm curious about how much success a woman with a single male profile on fab would get with a month long time target.

Been here a few times, first time round it was very difficult, now I tend not to worry at all, it is what it is, if some want to chat they will, and if not move on, as long as you are polite and respectful most people tend to get back to you.

I learned patience and that celibacy isn’t impossible. I also learned that if I aim to repel people humourously, I attract more of the people I like than when I tried to attract them intentionally. I learned how to filter the shit out of photos and look half presentable.

It’s a perverse place and I have some lovely online friends and acquaintances.

So much truth to this. The most "successful" men I know (the ones happiest with their experience) are the ones who treat women as humans and show a basic level of respect.

One I'd already interacted with a fair bit on the forums so I don't really count that as a cold message. Another I spotted commenting on all the geeky threads which I have a bit of a thing for and saw he was local so sent him a message about that. The other I was browsing search results and his profile text really caught my attention so I messaged him to say so and why it did. I'd say they're ways I'd be happy to be approached by a man.

Depends why you are here.

It's hard for single guys to get attention. Theres 250 guys to every woman on here. Couples choose if the want a single guy and it is difficult.

But just be yourself, and eventually sonething happens.
