Fireworks....

sell them or BAN them ???

I so wish you could only go and watch them at public displays.

Round here they use them as bloody weapons and they set bangers off way before the 5th and way after.

When i had my dog, she was a quivering wreck.

so I say BAN them all together

A world of my own

Definitely ban, organised displays only. They are constantly being set off here for weeks before Nov 5th they get thrown at cars and buses, at peoples front doors, so many dogs and cats are terrified, my friend has to get traqulisers for her dog from the vet

NO..DEF NOT BAN THEM!I always enjoy a beautiful display here,when I have my halloween/guy fawkes party here!Its all safely controlled by us.Animals are all away..inc farmers sheep etc..

A gr8 time is had by all..

Bonfire night is calibrated for the wrong reason now the real one was to celebrate the king is alive but that king is long dead and here we are celebrating and terrorist act in this day that is surely wrong

And for the bonfires we are told to recycle more but one this day no one gives a fuck and most people burn every thing they can get there hands on and the government don’t seam to mind either

its the same at my end they let them off before the 5th and well after and at stupid oclock in the morning and during the day time to

All the dogs we have had have been frightened of fireworks all reduced to quivering wrecks

personally i think they should be banned for public sale and kept for displysn only

well fire works were going off here tonight around 9 30 ish

and we are in falkirk central scotland

its the little shops that should not be allowed to sell them till later this month ot even ban the sale off till the 3rd off november we recon

If they don't just have organised displays then only sell them a week or two before the 5th.

If they must sell them then ban the loud,screeching ones that cause most of the problems.

In other words,the yob fireworks!

Since when are they needed to celebrate Halloween,Christmas or even New Year come to that,they never used to be.

Last but not least,how strange to live in a country under constant terrorist threat,where you can buy as much explosive as you like,especialy from October onwards!

Until last year I woulda said ban them from public sale....however....moved here three years ago...and was warned by all the locals that the farmer next door was a miserable sod, and that he'd be likely to shoot me if I ever set foot on his property....decided to put it to the test and ended up drinking a bottle of whiskey before I dragged myself away....anyway, to cut a long story short, last year after harvest he dumped all his rubbish etc into one of the fields, then invited me round for a bonfire night supper and fireworks display.......what a laugh.......and the neighbours just cannot figure it out why I have been allowed to live...looking forward to this year now pmsl

I now have 2 wee puppies, only 9 weeks old...... and anyone with fireworks within 2 mile radius to my house will have the fireworks stuffed up their ass to lessen noise......

Ban Them.

A few years ago when I worked in an office we ordered some from a "proper" Chinese company online. the delivery came and my box was spoiled, one of the fireworks inside had split and covered the rest, the company sent out another one and told me to bin the ruined box. Well, one of the greedy guys who didnt want to buy some took the box out of the works bin and took them home, he set them off and as they were damaged they were really dangerous, he put out three windows in his conservatory and next doors kitchen window! (I swear I didnt chuckle lol)

the more and the louder the better ,,, remind me of my time as a kid ,,, penny for the guy ,,, 10 bangers for half a crown ,,, lol .. put them in a bent pipe and fire them ,, if ya were quick tie some nails to them and put them in a bottle and screw the top on fast ,, 3, 4 , maybe 5 seconds if ya were lucky .... hmmm that might explain why i only got 3 fingers on my right hand ,,, i love fireworks ,,, another great chinese invention ,, along with wonton soup
