I am currently using Creed Aventus and though it does get a good response it’s more hype than anything and only really enjoyed by those kissing distance from you. At £265 a bottle it’s nice but certainly not that much nicer that other scents available for a more sensible price. I also enjoy Chanel Bleu. Always get a compliment. However I would think a good scent for a nice smell is Sauvage. This often gets good comments and it’s a fragrance that is very attractive. I wanted Creed to be the best because of what it cost but for me Sauvage wins.

Depends on how much you have to spend.....

First time Tom used Creed Aventus, i went weak at the knees. And every subsequent time, I must add! But it's around £150 - though you only need a tiny bit...

I had a boyfriend a million years ago who wore this Comme des Garçons scent that smelled sort of industrial, like a mechanic’s workshop. If I ever pass someone in the street who’s wearing it (which is very rare) it instantly makes me horny.

If creed didn’t have the price tag I doubt it’d sell like it does. It’s the widely known expensive aftershave.

If you want something more unique and better quality go to a penhaligons shop and talk to one of the assistants who actually know about what they’re selling, vs the cosmetics staff at department stores.

Or if you want something even more unique check out fragrance du Bois....they use genuine oud oil rather than just oud replicating scents.....you’ll need deep pockets for anything more than 15ml though. You do get an excellent display box, COA and a sample of the Agar wood they extract the oil from though.

You need to try them as they smell different on the skin than out the bottle.

Sauvage, smells great out the bottle but tried it on me and smelt awful.

For evening I love Armani stronger with you INTENSLEY, make sure to get the perfume oil it lasts hours and hours , so many women come y how hot this is.

For daytime meets and business I just wear Mont Blanc explorer, also the oil don’t lower yourself by wearing cheap bog spray

Dubai & Nottingham

Great thread for new ideas, tried sauvage today really like it will buy, Dior sport didn’t like at all like lemons, aventus creed is very nice but even at £188 for 100ml in Dubai I can’t decide it that good? , they do a Dubai Version for £30 which actually seems a bit nicer. Still think stronger with you (intensely) is the best for a date
