I do find it very fustrating when people that I would like to message have put "only" after their upper age limit & more often than not it seems to be fifty five. I may be the wrong side of sixty,but have been told I look a lot younger & certaintly don't feel like it. I realise people have their preferences but even if I can't send a message it would be usefull if I could at least send a wink & let them decide weather to message me or not. What does any one else think ?

I think you seem to have this strange idea that people's preferences shouldnt apply to you

It's unfortunate that you have to put a specific age limit rather than a region but that's just a limitation of computers and databases.

Hopefully people go a bit above and below their actual age ranges to allow for some people to look or behave outside the norm.

Just because you're interested to meet someone up to the age of 72, doesn't mean that lot of others think that way, too.

Preferences are put in profiles for a reason.

It just means they wouldn't want to meet you, they're doing you a favour by setting age preferences so you don't waste time messaging those who aren't interested.
