Who has been lately, what have you seen and was it good?

I went to see Guy Ritchie's new movie "The Gentlemen" last night. It's kind of a convoluted film within-a-film with an all star cast including Hugh Grant playing a sleazy private investigator. I absolutely loved it and would give it 9/10.

Last movie I've been to was Hobbs and Shaw, and they should honestly change the genre of that series from action to sci-fi...

Jumanji-the next level.

It's not going to win any Oscars, but it's good fun, and The Rock is in it

We saw this last week and yes, it's really good fun definitely as good as the last one as the cast is so strong!

Honestly, if you like Ritchie's style, you'll love it. Great acting and cast.

"Jojo Rabbit was brilliantly witty"

I've just read The Guardian review and watched the trailer for Jojo Rabbit.

Going to see it, next week, is now at the top of my 'to do' list.

We saw the new Star Wars film most recently. It didn't make much sense and left a lot to be desired. It takes more than a visual spectacle to make a film good in my view.

On our list to see is Jojo Rabbit and the new Armando Iaunucci take on David Copperfield. They look really funny.

I rarely go to the cinema now. Most movies don't interest me. It's all super heroes, ridiculous fights and car chases these days.

Spies in Disguise... my son wanted to see it! Was brilliant!

Only downside was all the other Mummies were there with their 'little ones' I was there with my 24 year old!

We did not care though! I did laugh with the lady sat next to me with her 16 year old

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m going to watch the new Grudge film later in the month (despite poor reviews).

Last thing I watched was Frozen 2. I cried. The end

I'm not going to see this as, as you say, The Review is very poor.

I've not read any reviews. Is it "professional" critic reviews or actual paying customer reviews?

Honestly these days Critics are worthless in their job. I straight up ignore what they say and judge movies (and other things) for myself, or word of mouth from more reliable and trusted sources.

Last time I went to the cinema was in September to see IT Part 2.

The last new (to me) film was John Carpenter's The Fog which I really enjoyed.

We went to see the new Star Wars on Saturday, was really good! Loved the way it tied everything together. The next on the list is the gentleman, looks really good fun! Also looking forward to a few this coming year, the new bond, dr dolittle with RDJ and the kings man. Really enjoy a good film, and as I get discounted tickets through work, it’d be rude not to.

I've just been to watch 1917 at The Cinema. This is a must see movie showing the horrors and insanity of war in as graphic a way as possible, without too much gore. Great camera work and acting. I'm glad I went.

Has anyone seen it or Little Women which I quite fancy?
