We are bored with our username. I know you can change it once.

The question I have if you change it do you loose any verification or fab,d pics. Do you loose anything at all.

Please help you wonderful fabbers

You don’t lose anything other than your previous name - unless you want to change it back (with site pass you can have a few more changes within a 12month period as long as you keep the new name for a week each time (rather than change every hour) - so you can alter your name for a brief holiday and then go back to your original name should you wish.

What you thinking of changing to?

"Not to sure yet. How about your friends on your list how will they know you have changed your name??"

They’ll just do a doubletake next time they look at their friends list and realise you’ve changed your name. Or you can message and tell them. Or pop it on your profile or as a status if you’re keen to ensure they’ve realised. They’ll recognise you from your profile text and photos, especially if they’re friends. It’s no biggie.

So your new name will auto show up in their friends list? And we will have all the friends ?

Yes, your profile remains in their friendlist and they in yours - only your profile name changes when you change your profile name, absolutely nothing else changes.

You can change it and then change it again, but you have to keep any change for at least a week. I think you only get about 3 changes per year if you are a site supporter

Was it just something that was easy to remember, ie a name from another site?

I was superramfan on here for about 8 years

I do too, though I think prefixing your new name with LandOf would have been slightly better - but only very slightly

Yes! I can feel Elgar's pride swelling - so to speak, of course

Land of Hope and Glory - we thought your name was a play on the phrase hope and glory!! It’s a song to the music of Elgar and made popular by Vera Lynn in the war era.

It was also latterly introduced to a new audience by an Indian chap who did a cover version which was always rudely interrupted by a bad tempered Windsor Davies

I just had a light bulb moment one morning when I changed mine, but I think I'll stick with it now, and yours sounds good
