"I have a dark room if you would like to have a lie down in it OP "

It's not really something I've experienced I'm afraid.

Brighton - even Hove!

The weirdest one was when I was in Germany on a school trip and we were to go to a wine tasting vineyard and when we got out several of us said they recognised the place and I said there’s a hut down there with a river and we walked over the hill and there was a stone hut and lower down a little stream. Some girls started to freak out and cry. Several of us said we’d been there before. It was creepy and scary. None of us had been to Germany before.

Had a very strong sense of deja-vue last Saturday afternoon in the middle of a wonderful social meet. Have no idea if it's a good or bad omen.

Brighton - even Hove!

From wiki....” a similarity between a new scene's spatial layout and the layout of a previously experienced scene in memory (but which fails to be recalled) may contribute to the déjà vu experience. When the previously experienced scene fails to come to mind in response to viewing the new scene, that previously experienced scene in memory can still exert an effect—that effect may be a feeling of familiarity with the new scene that is subjectively experienced as a feeling that an event or experience currently being experienced has already been experienced in the past, or of having been there before despite knowing otherwise....”

It’s a thought, anyway....
