I think it's great, currently alternating between gible, lucario and machamp, being most tasks done for them just running out of berries very quickly

Looking forward to getting to ultra and getting the upgrade on the fighters

I’ve got Tangela as my buddy! I’ve only ever seen one in the wild so I’ve never been able to evolve, so I’m grinding with him at the moment. He’s bloody cute! Waddles around, is like a proper toddler chasing you

The reward is supposed to be the equivalent of a five level boost, so my machamp and lucario will be equivalent to level 45 pokemon. For now I'm walking gible for candy

There are different answers on Reddit. Some say lvl41 some say lvl45. Either way it’s only a temporary CP boost sadly.

Currently Swablu for me, but only because I've nearly evolved him.

I like the idea of the buddy more than the reality just now - I find it too time consuming to do all the extra things I need to do to make it worthwhile.

I’m near two big uni towns. I’m in a local group chat with hundreds of people, so we all get together for raids and stuff!

I got a shiny swablu and another shiny shellder. Got my first shiny shellder on Tuesday this week

That’s decent to get 2 off brand shinies, bring on next weeks community day it’s actually my birthday the same day so hoping I’m lucky, it took me ages to get shiny swablu, I have a friend who travels to Scotland loads for work and he plays pogo

It was freezing down here it scared off a lot of people but I’m happy I got a couple of shinies plus I managed to meet up with a mate in the morning to spend my birthday playing pogo x

BTW this game is great to get young kids playing in the car to stop them from napping! It's why I started a game. Then my child got their own device and game and I carried the first game on and help them. My child things I'm a super cool mum

We did community day, 9 shiny for me but nothing with good IV.

As for buddies, I'm currently walking a Panpour which was traded from a friend visiting from America at Christmas so I can get the candy to evolve it, just finished walking a Pansage to get the 50 candy on Friday after a friend kindly brought one back from his holiday in Japan.

....I probably shouldn't mention that the Panpour is a lucky and that I also got a lucky Azelf and that they traded me a Heatmor then?

(I've been very lucky with all of that!)

I can only see two gyms from my house, and one has nowhere else near it so if we want to do big raids, we can only do them from one gym (if that makes sense)

And yeah I reckon you should get a free daily pass
