"Donno about a 'Classic' but I think my fave has got to be 'Spaced' it only ran for 2 series and maybe that's part of the reason I still have such a soft spot for it. In a sea of dull situation comedy, or 'trying too hard to be Zany' shows, this for me did everything to perfection. Full of nods to other great shows /films/games/cultural icons, just the right amount of surreal moments, the best EVER depiction of a club scene! making the 'A-Team' theme forever now conjour up images of Mike in a pink top, looking like a 'twatt' dancing on that podium! Every episode is just crammed full of perfect moments! To quote 'Tyres' ... " An A-1, tip top clubbing jam fair. It was a sandwich of fun on ecstacy bread, wrapped up in a big bag like disco fudge. It doesn't get much better than that" "

"The Sweeney The Professionals Minder" Loved all 3. Watched an episode of Minder recently and was surprised how badly it had dated. Recent classics for me are The Sopranos, Rome. A classic for the future that I love now is Dexter

"so many can think of.. only fools and horses spooks house of cards but if having to pick 1 then will say bilko " Bilko often get forgotten. Phil Silvers was a great comedian and set some high standards. Might not be the best but up there.

"Dear John..have you got any sexaul problems" yes a classic. never forget the one where they are talking about pushing a caravan of a cliff (or something like that) and it belonging to a member of the group who happened to be inside it at the time. classic tv. six million dollar man. still the best start to any program made. we can rebuild him. better than he was before. as a kid i was fixed to the tv when it came on. also the professionals sticks in my mind for the car crashing through the window and the music.

Phil Silvers was a great comedian and set some high standards. Might not be the best but up there. " Compared to anything else made at the same time (1957 I think) Bilko was almost revolutionary. My favourite one was the one where they were training the racehorse at night time - The Colonels face every time he was woken by the noise and the headlight hung round its neck was just pure comedy genius. Everyone has covered all my others, except Jeeves and Wooster with Fry and Laurie. Loved Jeeves subtle put-downs to Bertie..... Bertie practising his putting on the hall rug when Jeeves comes home. Jeeves sees about 20 balls all over the floor with not one in the cup. "Practising your putting, Sir?" "Yes Jeeves - y'know I'd swear this rug is going uphill Jeeves.....!" "Indeed Sir. Practically perpendicular....." Classic
