Chelmsford

I was in Tesco earlier and saw a grown man wheeling his bicycle around the aisles.

I guess it was valuable and not wanting it stolen he took it into the store. .

I have never seen that before

I wouldn't lock my carbon bike up outside a shop, there are too many quick-release bits that can come off in seconds and many parts cost 100's of pounds on their own (some pro wheels are over 10 grand). But I wouldn't go to Tesco on my expensive bike anyway, it seems a silly thing to do.

Regularly take my bike into shops ... no way am I leaving it outside ... even with a lock ... have in the past taken it into a coffee shop to drink as there were no seats outside.

Don’t see the problem myself... people take pushchairs into shops and I suppose as there is only one of me i can’t be accused of blocking up the roads or riding illegally 2 abreast (which it isn’t just to add )

One of my partners often wheels her bike through the store as she works there and there is no external access to the staff only part to the rear where she keeps it and getting the rear access gate open purely to get a bike through is a right palarva. It's opened for bin collection and deliveries and nowt else. Leaving it outside with the customer bikes when you start your shift at half five in the morning is asking for it to go missing.

1) people who have been down the stables and then covered in horse shit walking around and picking up / touching food when they are covered in horse shit

2) parents who put their kids in the basket section of the trolly (not the seat)

One guy nearly knocked me flying in Asda. Was on roller stakes and moving a ton.

To be honest.. I never lock.my car doors...what does that tell you.. If one get stolen I have many others.. the trick is not to go to Tesco in the one I don't want nicked..

I take mine in to shops all the time. Not sure I'd walk up and down aisles with it but the local tesco Express and Co-OP have never had a problem with leaving it inside the store. As others have said, my best bike is worth way too much to be left unattended locked up or not
