We're heading towards thirty now, blocked two in one day the other week, may have even been within an hour of each other!!! And no it's NOT just single guys either

None. I do block people from time to time e.g those that ask 'Why not?' or those that insist 'You want me really' etc. I don't feel any animosity. I just want them to stop and I ask politely. If it's ignored, I block.

After a while I clear my block list. One reason being that as they don't make my world go round I can't remember who they are or why I blocked them.

Some wear their block list like a badge that has somehow levitated them to being better than the rest.. i.e oh look at wonderful me/us We had to block all the annoying people. It's hard being so great. etc etc .....

There is about 12 on ours. We rarely block people unless they are really abusive. Blocked one person on chat as he stated in open chat where I worked and I had never meet him before. Did freak me out a little at the time.

Dont know how many have block us either.

Yes I totally agree with this.

I block to stop the initial constant messaging of those who insist on saying 'good morning' and then 'good afternoon' every day, so basically just to stop the initial irritation. Then I unblock after a while

i never block anyone but am surprised to find that people have blocked me,for instance i may decide to look at the profile of someone that has sent me a message and find that i am blocked,how weird???..also iv looked at someone who has fabbed my pics and again i was blocked..just dont get it..i can understand how some guys use the block option to stop themselves becoming pests as they forget who they have messaged and at least you wont come up on their search,but im not getting why iv been blocked by those mentioned...not that i care ..lol

It does make me wonder sometimes what I've done when I find I have been blocked by people who I have never communicated with.

It doesn't phase me - they have done it for their reasons and it isn't for me to question their decisions.

is it not better to block any profile you see that does not appeal to you hence not receivving mail or unwanted attention from others that you have no interest in anyway?

Quite a few. I block peeps that have been a pest or I did not like the sound of.

I also block people I have messaged and they have had said 'no thanks'. It just stops me being a pest and messaging them again if I cant remember the conversation.

About a dozen at the moment. We don't see any problem blocking people you are not interested in.
