Going out on NYE to be absolute shite? The last couple of times I've tried have been absolute disasters, maybe tonight is just cursed for me?

Very happy to be staying in tonight by myself with Netflix and my crochet (just had to check for a sec that yes I am still 25) anyone else doing the same?

This will be the third visit to Pandora and am hoping it will be another good night.

Chatting, dancing and sex ... perfect

Yep, too busy, overpriced and is essentially no different to any other day, would much rather stay in with good food, few drinks and relax.

I wouldn't say shite but I don't find it very interesting. I'm not a big party-goer. You could come round and do your crocheting here and watch something together if you wanted some company.

I actually like NYE, people seem friendlier and it's a good excuse for a party so after the post Christmas lethargy and before the January slump.

Used to go out to Central london to have drinks and see the fireworks.

In recent years though, it's just total carnage and chaos.

Easier to stay indoors and watch on a HD TV with friends.

I just to be one of those people in the NYE bar scrum but now I like nothing better than staying in with Jools.

However I have been talked into a housewarming tonight. Hopefully it will be more fun that it's shaping up to be.

All four kids at home tonight so a night of games and movies .

NYE can often be a bit shit due to venues over playing the importance of it.

I'm staying in. Pointless going out as I live a bit remote, so have to drive = no drink.

I've just lit the fire, and got a bottle of red breathing a bit before I attack it.

I've just started a baby blanket for my impending niece or nephew I got the bug over Christmas when I made a couple of handmade gifts for people and my crocheted scrunchies went down a storm! Don't give up, I have tried and failed many times over the years but this time I watched YouTube tutorials and found it much easier to grasp, am totally addicted now

Ahh OK, I understood you don't enjoy going out at all.

I often can't be bothered with everyone around being crazy but them I'm kind of jealous that they can let their hair down and dont feel silly being uninhibited
