I know people put restrictions on only meeting people who have x amount of feedbacks, but if everyone did it, nobody would ever meet, you need to meet to get feedback, it twists my tiny mind

You mean verifications? Lots of people meet unverified folk. Or you're right, nobody would ever get verified

I do find it odd personally, that people put store in what a total STRANGER has to say about another STRANGER before deciding to fuck them or not.

In my time here I've read post where verified people have:

* arranged hotel meets but not turned up...but several men were waiting in the hotel room having paid for a gang bang.

* travelled miles late at night to attend club meet and stay over to be met and told change of plans, they're taking someone else so see ya...leaving the woman alone at night in a strange town.

* the woman who accepted a taxi from a meets house only to have him turn up in the early hours of the morning for a booty call with her young daughter in the house. He'd spun the cab company some yarn to get her address.

Verifications mean jack. There are many who realise this: look out for those.
