Yes I get alot of attention in real life but not on here.. I have had woman block me when they find out I am of asian decent.

I am not verified on this profile but I have been in the past on my old account. I have met non verified people on here also, so I dont think it's because if that some wont meet me.

Was just about to say, you’ve removed them now. I honestly think it will make a difference. It would be an instant block for me, always has been and having read other threads about the same thing I’m not in the minority. Most women don’t want to see other women on a single mans profile. Every1 has a preference....yes it would be nice to be told sometimes "your not my type" but maybe you are being blocked for other reasons such as not being verified, it may be because youre asian, but never assume its just because of the latter unless you are told that. Im pretty sure u have blocked or not messaged people back who do not match your preferences...we all do dont we??

So you're successful in person because you're connecting with people who are interested in your type/ethnicity. There's a stigma in being a single man here. It really makes it increasingly hard work for you to get established and to meet people. There will be some who won't meet you because of your skin colour but it's ideal if they break off contact early on, so that you can focus your attention on the right people.

Don't let this one thing prevent you from still investing alk of the energy that you will need to do, as a single man though. It could become an easy excuse not to do that, especially when it can be painful to know that your colour is a mismatch for someones preference.

THIS^^^ I see this all the time on profiles...women that just want BBC just as much as women that do or don't want black or Asian guys...for me there is an even higher percentage of women that are not interested in a guy in lingerie! Sexual preference/attractiveness is not a measure of someone's overall attitude to someone...sexually we all like different things for different reasons x

Being half white half Asian I can empathize with this and have also encountered the same when telling people I'm half Asian. The messages just stop, sometimes to be blocked, too much of a coincidence if you've been chatting along nicely before.

It is annoying when people discount an entire race of people and say they are unattractive, everyone wants to be judged as an individual, it just feels unfair to be judged as a whole race to be 'unworthy'.

Note that this also happens to white males too, judging from the times I've heard women, who only sleep with black guys, have said they receive abuse to their inboxes over the fact they only see black guys.

There does seem to be a stigma attached to South Asian guys, in how they are perceived to treat women on here, mostly horror stories from how someone was treated in a club once from an Asian person, that has now tarred an entire race from what I've heard before.

I'm half Asian but raised by the white side of my family so I'm culturally not Asian yet also get tarred with this. Which again feels unfair.

However, I won't be able to change anyone's mind on this and it's really not worth trying.

Some people won't meet you, some people will. Focus on those that will because there are some smashing people on here who don't view race as the be all and end all when it comes to attraction.

Nothing racial at all. When it comes to sex, it’s attraction everything else. Some woman have a preference towards their homogenous race, some don’t. Nothing more than that. Don’t look too much into it on this site. Most people on this site are lovely folk. But everyone is entitled to their sexual preference of attraction.
