Incorrect number of profile views

Earlier my profile was showing that I had 4 views today, now it says 3. Any ideas, the missing profile from the list hasn't left the site and we have actually added each other as friends.

That probably explains it, I didn't realize it would take away the view, I assumed it just stopped new views from showing up. Thank you for the reply.

Does it REALLY matter? You could be viewed a thousand times and not get a single meet, or viewed once and get one.

The number of views doesn't matter at all and I never stated otherwise. I was merely wondering why my profile was showing 3 views when earlier there had been 4.

Someone has suggested that if a profile goes into stealth mode it removes earlier views, so I'm going with that theory.
