Transition period for them- I like Arteta although I think he should have earned his stripes in the lower leagues first.

I think he took his own ambitions before Arsenals. Very different being a no.2-just ask Mike Phelan

Tbh as a lifelong fan I know that this sounds a bit odd but being crap and learning that it's not a walk in the park so to speak will ultimately be good for the players.

Hopefully they will learn a bit of humility and also realise about the history of the club .

We are a club that's always been in the upper echelons of the game however traditionally we have always had a down period of mid table mediocrity.

Unfortunately the player's and fans have been well and truly spoilt over the past 3 decades last two in particular with Wenger at the helm.

I think we had become complacent and grown to assume success was a given.

Like all things sometimes you can't beat rolling up your sleeves and working hard.

Unfortunately football has more than ever also become about who has the deepest pockets.

The only saving grace that really contradicts this is Leicester.

So maybe Arsenal struggling for a bit learning to rediscover the passion and pride for playing for The Arsenal may return and in the meantime gives us the opportunity to get rid of the money chasing greedy Playboy's.

That's my thoughts anyway.

oh boy where do i start...

the beginning of the season under unai was a shambles....

over the last 2 games we have seen the beginning of what this team can do..... for 85 minutes they were really good... bearing in mind you didn't have 3 of your 1st team back four... and the midfielders put in one hell of a shift today...

i'll spot leno this one because he has saved us a lot of points this year... and we all know where we need to to improve... we have the basis of a really good team, we have a lot of really good youngsters coming thru

feel gutted for chambers now being out with a serious injury, you could see he was getting better... if you stuck hime next to a defender who shouts and screams and tells him where he needs to be (david luis or sokratis doesn't do that for me) you can tell he can be coachable...

plus if arteta can get ozil to buy in and put in that sort of shift every week... no one will be happier than us

write this season off... let arteta bring in the players he wants (step up kevin volland)... and we will be fine

I went to my first game at Highbury at around six. My grandfather had a shop in Gillespie Road. These days I couldn't be less interested in football but they were the team I grew up with and i couldn't ever support another team.

Well if I picked my actual local team I would've been supporting a Sunday league team and doesn't really garner the same excitement
