I’m one of those girls who prefers older, more experienced guys. Most of them talk the talk but then can’t get it up in the bedroom. Either that or they don’t last very long and can’t go again and it’s pretty frustrating when you’re as highly sexed as me (problem just as frustrating for them too!)

:-Well I (Dave) can only speak for myself, I don't have a problem getting it up but on the odd occasion we invite another guy to join us Tina prefers somebody younger as she says I do all the button pushing husband type things and he gets fucked and discarded

Sounds like you need to meet an active older guy. One that worksout and has a healthy diet. Thing is OP there isn't a man alive who doesn't have some issue with how his cock performs at some time in their life, whether that be problems getting or maintaining an erection, cumming too quickly, not cumming at all etc etc - any guy that says he hasn't, either hasn't experienced it yet, or is a liar.

Whilst it's true the older you get, the more prone you *might* be to issues due to underlying problems such as prostate, reduced or increased blood pressure etc, age really doesn't come into it at all - as others have said any number of factors can affect "performance" at any given time.

The key is how you deal with it, both as the individual affected, and the person they are with - make an issue out of it and the bigger the problem becomes, treat it sensitively and ignore it as much as you can and whilst it might not make a difference, it will certainly help.

Sex doesn't *have* to be about the man getting it up, or even penetration there are a whole heap of things that can be done which are just as mutually pleasurable and satisfying even if Mr Floppy does come to visit

If those things aren't for you, then fair enough, but making them sound like a bad thing, or a guys ability to "perform" as a bad thing (and not saying you have as such) is not at all helpful
