Tbh its not something i personally im going to worry myself over, i have 2 petrol 5.7L v8 vehicles.. so im hardly the eco warrior.

Nah it was only a short term solution.

If you wiped out half the human population, it would be the same as it was in the 1980s.

Wouldn't take long to repopulate again and be in the same situation

The universe is constantly rebalancing itself. Even our own planet has previously gone through greenhouse gas stages long before the arrival of man or even primates. Poles shifted, ice caps and glaciers melted, deserts formed, sea levels dropped, volcanos erupted, new lands appeared, populations (flora and fauna) exploded, species evolved, thrived and died out... Such is the nature of things.

While it is admirable to be aware of our impact on our environment and to act responsibly and kindly with regard to other species and their habitats, in the greater scheme of things, even our own evolution, advances and very existence are a mere blip on the radar of the cosmos, and are still subject to the laws of nature, no matter how advanced we think we are.
