Hey,

So for just over a week now I get this lump in my right side of my throat feeling when I swallow. I'm not one for the doctor never have been. Donr the old online search and said it could be some globus thing. Anyone had this ? Or the big C.

Manchester (she/her)

Call 111 or ask a pharmacist.

Brighton - even Hove!

Unlikely to be cancer as you would have had other symptoms before that.

La la land

Calm and go to the GP. It's probably one of your lymph nodes swollen due to infection. But go check it out.

Ring your surgery and make an appointment, by the time you get one it will have gone away or got worse. Genuinely that is the best advice I can give you, asking people who aren't medically qualified for the most part and can't actually see the lump isn't helpful really. You could also have a chat with a pharmacist they're very knowledgeable
