5% would probably last a few hours if left alone, or just turn brightness down and enter battery saving mode, probably get a half hour or more of use texts

Very true, but isn't it strange looking at how these gadgets start to dictate our lives. How on earth did we used to get on before them?!

As a slightly off the subject conversation, are they a positive for society or a negative?!

Tech is great and can make life so much easier but people are way too reliant on technology these days, I think it's having a negative impact on society but I'm not too worried about myself I'm still borderline cavemen so it's going to be a time before before it catchs me out

Reduce everything that's using battery to an absolute minimum.

Find a 24 hours store and buy a charger, sit with a drink and charge.

I am not even sure where my phone is 95% of the time, so wouldn't notice if the battery was flat

won't touch a 24 hour shop for a USB cable. An they won't have mines anyways
