And I’m stuck at work for 12 hours and full of cold. Woke up this morning after an entire night spent coughing, with a very runny nose and I’ve been sneezing all day.

Still haven’t wrapped any of my kids pressies and all as I want to do is go home and sleep ready to come back for another 12 hours tomorrow.

Can anyone please come and wrap them for me

I’ve still got to attempt to get to tesco tonight after I finish work at 8 to get the fresh food in.

My kitchen look like a bomb has landed in it because I asked my teenage kids to clean the lounge whilst I was at work a couple of days ago. I came home to a spotless lounge but they’d dumped everything in the damn kitchen

Hiding in the shadows

I feel your pain.

Supposed to be heading to my mums today, leaving at 18.00ish

I've spent hours chauffeuring one of my sons around, trains cancelled due to flooding.

What should have been a 20min drop off & home turned into 2hrs as the road out of our village was also flooded, then the same 3hrs later to collect him.

I've torn my house apart, searching for my mums Christmas present, that I hid 2 mths ago!

Place looks like it's been burgled & I've still not found it.

I've not got any packing done, and the snuffles I've been battling all week, have turned into full on sneezes, snots, and a headache inducing cough!

My Christmas spirit went out of the window about lunch time

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, OP. Hope you'll feel better soon.

My Christmas panic is already beginning to set in. Luckily, I'm not working tomorrow, but as I'm Polish, tomorrow evening is my main Christmas celebration. My partner cleared out the bedroom yesterday, which I am very grateful for, but he has similar system to your kids- just dump the extra bits and pieces everywhere else. Now we need to figure out where to put stuff, and still need to get the table and sofa sorted. It's a nightmare, living in a flat with hardly any storage .

Luckily, it's only my sister coming over for Christmas, so not too much pressure.

Hope you all have good Christmas.
