Sometimes U.K

Is there a 1 off show or film you’re planning to see over Christmas?

Am looking forward to Gavin & Stacey Christmas Day special, the characters are great.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’ve not been too impressed thus far by the initial TV over Christmas if I’m honest.

I was looking forward to A Christmas Carol.....until I watched the first one last night and Dracula on New Years Day.....until I saw the trailer.

Having said that, I am a notoriously hard to please and miserable sod

The best thing I’ve watched so far has been the, In The Long Run Christmas episode which I did enjoy.

I will be watching Gavin and Stacey though

I watch very little TV but I am going to make a point of watching Gavin and Stacey. I hope they can reach the high standard they set originally.

Gavin & Stacey - we love spotting the locations because it’s filmed near my hometown.

I want a transvestite for Christmas

Only a transvestite will do

I don't want a fuck doll, no dinky Tinker toy

I want a transvestite to play with and enjoy

I want a transvestite for Christmas

I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you?

He won't have to use my dirty “chimney flue”

Just bring him through the front door

That's the easy thing to do

I can see me now on Christmas morning

Creeping down the stairs

Oh, what joy and what surprise

When I open up my eyes

To see my tarty tranny standing there

I want a transvestite for Christmas

Only a transvestite will do

No couple profile, or lady all uptight

I only like a “passable” transvestite

And transvestites like me too

As Infinitum......

I was really disappointed with The Christmas Carol last night I won't be watching the next two episodes.

Looking forward to Dr Who and Gavin & Stacey. Plus hopefully Kylie on Channel 4.

"New doctor who on new years day I believe "

Hopefully, the writing will be better than it was in her first season. Another feeble outing will finish her off, which would be a pity.

I'm saving The Witcher, on Netflix, to make up for the underwhelming fodder offered on the four main channels.

There are a few choices on TV, I'll watch but in general, it will be radio stations I'll listen to.

One show, mentioned already, is Gavin & Stacey. However, I must be the only person in the UK who cannot see what's the attraction in this show. It's the most unfunny programme ever made.

But, humour is subjective.
