Just wondering if anyone else has been kind or had any nice gestures from people on the lead up to Xmas

I will start by saying that i gave my neighbour across the road 10 bottles of Stella about an hour ago. He ran out of booze. Anyone else helped out or received any kind gestures. Where's the Xmas spirit

I gave my ex husband a card and wished him happy Xmas. Be the bigger person, mindfulness blah blah fucking blah. Not easy but it's got to be done and I did

I met a guy through work who is going through a rough patch, not many belongings or money to buy some fresh clothes - sorted a bag out for him - mainly fleeces and tops.

Going to do my usual donation to the local homeless centre charity too.

Every year my husband and I donate food and litter, toys etc to our local no kill cat shelter. Our boy is a rescue we've had since he was a kitten so it means a lot to us.

Yes!

My Mum and I were loading our shopping onto the belt at M&S yesterday (which, by the way, wasn’t even that busy - hurrah!!) and some lovely lady ran up to us, gave my mum a £5 off voucher for the shopping, and ran off again.

How lovely was that?! I suspect it was because my mum looked ready to keel over, but still, we were both very impressed.

.

I was doing some Christmas shopping yesterday and my favourite barista gave me my regular coffee for free as I looked like I needed it (I've been poorly ). That small gesture was much appreciated.

Food bank donations

I give out £5 greggs vouchers to the homeless.

However I do try and help people and do nice gestures throughout the year not just at Christmas.

I sent a swinging friend some flowers yesterday but she's been a total angel to me helping me throughout the year so I just wanted to tell her that I value her and her friendship.

Belle

You took him 10 bottles of “Wifebeater”, it’s not going to be a happy Xmas in their house, gulp

I had a meet with someone last night who i have met once before somewhere back in time. He turned up laden with gifts. Chocolates (3 boxes), perfume, lotions, flowers. I felt quite bad as all I had got was a small Christmas cake and some mulled wine. How a good gesture from a considerate man can make you shine
