To me its wrong whether someone's dyslexic or not. It's just rude and superior. Why would you want people to see you like that? I wouldn't want to be seen as someone who sneers at people.

This, if someone asks for profile advice I will tell them they've spelt a word incorrectly, so they can amend it. But to pull them up on a forum post, that's wrong in my book.

This is true for English but a headfuck for English speakers trying to read languages that the order makes a huge difference. Just saying

Making fun of somebody for bad spelling is just immature. Especially as we all make mistakes often enough. Autocorrect can be a blessing and a curse, a double edged sword.

But pulling somebody up on it when it is frequent, nothing wrong with that. Take some pride in to what you are putting in to text and do it correctly. Correct spelling and grammar can often be critical and the closest thing to getting across tone in text form, helping to avoid a lot of misunderstandings.

Dyslexia only goes so far as a reason/excuse. I know plenty of people who are dyslexic, they put extra effort and time in to what they are saying, and proof read what they have said, they don't hide behind it. A few things still fall through the cracks now and again, it happens.

The only difference is how much support has been given, so it will be different for different age groups.

Poor spelling can cause issues for people who do not have English as their first language. Have some consideration for them also.
