Father Christmas cos it's not gender neutral.

Father Christmas to me is a man. It’s just the tradition in the UK. Apparently in Ukraine they have a snow maiden. I don’t think we have to make everything gender neutral.

Every year we get this ridiculous "liberals wanna make father crimble gender neutral" myth popping up in some stupid pseudo-news source

My mum bought me up

She was both mother and father

And Mother Christmas

As we now have same sex dad's

Lets have dad Christmas

I think the conclusion that's been reached is we aren't arguing about it. Kent live want people to THINK we are arguing about it to push ads at us when in actual fact no one cares a jot!

There was a recent post on Facebook that said President Obama always said 'Happy Holidays' at Christmas, rather than 'Happy Christmas'. It didn't take long before a video appeared of every time he said Happy Christmas, often with Michelle beside him.

I might suggest though that if father xmas is deemed inappropriate then so should mother nature

I'm perfectly happy to use both however my mind is open enough to understand why nonchalant gender personification can be seen as something we should use with advanced thinking
